In October 2021 the Chester County Planning Commission passed a Climate Action Plan that includes the objective of limiting “new easements for fossil fuel infrastructure related projects on County property, including but not limited to liquefied natural gas projects.” The Planning Commission created the Climate Action Plan in partnership with the County’s Environmental and Energy Advisory Board.
