Morgan Hill voted 3-2 in favor of a building electrification reach code on November 6th, 2019. Nestled in Santa Clara County, Morgan Hill’s gas-free commitment is similar to Berkeley’s in that it’s based on health and safety grounds, but it goes a step further by not providing carveouts for specific purposes or industries.
