Find a SAFE City

A SAFE City is a local jurisdiction that has passed a policy that phases out fossil fuels or pledges to do so. There are many different ways to do this, and you can click on individual SAFE Cities to learn more about the policies they have passed.

By default the map and search tool will display all SAFE Cities around the world. You can narrow your search by searching for a specific location, by the type of local jurisdiction, or by the type(s) of SAFE Policies. Clicking on a SAFE City will bring you to a page with more info about that jurisdiction as well as a link to the policy or policies they've passed (if available).
