Ottawa endorses Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation treaty.

On July 6th, 2022, the City of Ottawa endorsed the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty, becoming the 12th Canadian municipality to do so. By endorsing the treaty, Ottawa commits to transitioning away from fossil fuel extraction, aligning with global efforts to combat climate change and mitigate its local impacts.
