Toronto has passed several policies that will help move it's more than 3 million residents away from fossil fuels.

Since endorsing the call for a fossil fuel non-proliferation treaty, Toronto has passed a policy limiting gas infrastructure in new buildings and a ban on fossil fuel advertisements on transit and government property. Toronto’s green development standards are currently being sued by developers.
