Växjö passed a climate action plan and electrification policy against fossil fuels.

The city of Växjö in southern Sweden claims to be Europe’s “greenest” city. Their sustainability plan clearly states the city’s intention to be fossil fuel free – and they’re making great strides toward that goal with strict energy efficiency programs and locally produced renewable energy that powers their entire public transport fleet and most homes.
